Whether you are selling quality used equipment or looking for a great buy, our consignment shop is the place to be. When you sell your used gear at Second Tracks, we will give you a credit equal to 80% of the selling price valid at any of our three shops. Or if you need some cash flow, we’ll cut you a check for 60% of the selling price.

We only sell telemark, alpine-touring (randonée), and backcountry gear and clothing, and it has to be in decent shape. No junk! Used telemark and AT equipment sells quickly, so if you want to upgrade, bring in your gear and we’ll do our best to move it.

We post many of the consignment items we receive on Telemarkski.com, our online store. This greatly increases the audience for your gear, allowing for faster sales and money in your pocket sooner. All at no additional cost to you!

The 80-percent credit is good for anything we sell in all three of our shops – whether it’s brand new equipment or clothing in one of the retail shops (even if it’s on sale!) or something that catches your eye in the consignment shop.

In the summer, we accept bikes that are in good condition, backpacking equipment, certain climbing gear, footwear, and clothing.

Some of the particulars for sellers: We will help you set the asking price. After 2 months, the price automatically drops 25%. After 4 months, there’s another 25-percent drop.

After an item has been in stock for six months and it is past the end of its selling season (April 1 for winter items, October 1 for summer items), it becomes the property of Wilderness Sports. There is a 30 day grace period during this time when we encourage you to retrieve your items.
