EQUIPMENT DEMOS AND RENTALS
We rent almost everything we sell, from lightweight crosscountry skis to the burliest alpine-touring skis and boots. Backcountry accessory packages include climbing skins, avalanche beacons, probes, and shovels. And if you want to try ice climbing, we have boots, crampons, and axes.
For telemark and AT, we demo Black Diamond boots including the Method, Push, Shiva, and Stiletto; and the Scarpa T1 and T2X for both genders. Check out our demo skis and binding combinations here.
The best way to make sure you are purchasing the right telemark or AT ski equipment is to TRY BEFORE YOU BUY. We have two demo programs that make it easy and affordable for you to do this.
You can rent equipment at our normal rates and, if you decide to make a purchase, you can deduct up to three days of rentals (or half of all your rentals, whichever is greater) from your purchase. If we are having a sale or you are using a coupon, equipment cannot be discounted more than 20% to deduct rentals. Check out rental rates here.
Or you can take advantage of our demo card, which allows you to take multiple items and compare different skis or different boots on the same day. Here’s how it works: The cost is $15 per item per day. You must take at least two skis or two boots per day on the first two days of your demo, and you must purchase a minimum of six demos up front, for a minimum total of $90. You can purchase up to 15 demos, for a maximum of $225. When you are done demoing, you can apply the entire amount of your demo card investment toward a purchase. If we are having a sale or you are using a coupon, equipment cannot be discounted more than 20% to apply your demo card. Review the demo card agreement here.
